I have always dreamed of soaring to new altitudes in a hot air balloon. My husband wanted to surprise me with a flight for my recent birthday, but the weather unfortunately did not cooperate, causing us to have to cancel several times. During the February break from school, we had finally had a beautiful weather day without any wind or rain and was given our chance to fly up high into atmosphere. It was so tranquil and truly amazing as we soared as high as 4000-5000 feet above the ground. Our pilot was incredible and made us feel quite safe. This was an experience like none I have had before. To feel free and light, to fly like a bird as the hot air balloon gently glided us through the sky I will forever remember as one of the best experiences I ever had.
